aandi kudaiththai vaangi udaiththathu pola,

Many lyricist and musician had misused or wasted the oppertunity they get. In this music world who could qualify to be called an 'aandi'?

  Ravindran, for sure.
  Three possibilities exist:
  1.He consciously chose not to compete in a market dominated by IR and the likes.
  2. He was inaccessable and as a result got the 'Mallu MD' tag and producers/directors didn't approach him.
  3. Quantity scored over quality!
  
  He has made some good music in Tamil films like 'Rasikan Oru Rasikai' and 'Kanmaniye Pesu' and a host of Mallu films with a clssical music background. If we can live with the mediocrity of Deva, Sirpi and S A Rajkumar, wonder why a talented guy like him never found the place here??
