it seems priyadarshan is doing a new movie with kamal and madhavan and its name is Anbe Shivam.
another movie which he is doing is Kanmani Nee Vara Kaathirippen...

wanna guess who'll do the music?

  God, What Priya dharshan has gone Mad. IR & PD combo was one of the bests . Atleast could have used ARR to give some thing like Kabhi na kabhi...HJ and VS..What's the problem.?

  IR - priyadharshan not in good terms with him
  DEVA - nothing new
  
  so they are going for VS for a change. I am sure VS will do a better job than what shankar mahadevan did for aalavandhan. So it's ok guys..

  PD - VS combo came good in 'Snehidhiye' ....
  
  He is talented, No doubt, But still I am not able to digest the fact that he is getting a Kamal movie :-)
  
  BTW, this is a confirmed news, I saw the official advertisement in Dhinath thandhi a few weeks back !

  the reason for Vidyasagar doing music for Kamal's movie is simple... Vidyasagar is currently the numero uno in malayalam field (that he remixes his songs from tamil and gives it as a malayalam song is altogether a different story)... Kamal is a well-known star in Malayalam... so its just pure marketing that Kamal agreed for VS so that they can market the movie in malayalam too (if not dubbing, a direct release in tamil will do).... just like what kamal did with soundarya/rambha in "Kadhala Kadhala"...!!!

  I think, whenever a director worked with IR chooses another MD for his next movie, due to whatever reasons it may be, we start talking that they are not in good terms ...

  I wanted to say that....:-)
  
  VS is an MD who doesn't have style of his own..but can score like any of the Popular MDs (and doesn't necessarily copy like deva), and give some good numbers....His semi-classical numbers in mallu are good. Since Raja/arr are not there i wud've definitely wanted ysr or VS

  I Agree to you ... But till last moment I was expecting Kamal would opt for YSR .... :-(
  
  Anyway, No doubt VS has given some wonderful songs, 'Malaree, Maunamaa' and 'Anbe Anbee nee en piLLai' are my all time fav. songs and I feel these two songs are par with IR Quality !!!

  Oliyile therivathu is an okay song I guess, but cannot capture the splendour of say Azhage azhagu or Nathiyil aadum poovanam (similar situation songs.)
  
  I can accept that each of us have different expectations and what may please you may not mean much to me.

  vidyasagar is a good music director...i had listened to his almost all tamil movie songs and malayalam...and he dosen't remix like vj says ...he has a good background in karnatic and classical music....he won 7 awards in mallu..and he is one of the best to emerge in mallu....he had reowrked one song from tamil from movie subhash ..and one from mallu to tamil..that song is in the movie vedham....he is really flexible...i think vj is an arr or ir diehard fan....go diehard on music man ...so u could know others talend ...u may stick with one but not others.... his new album in mallu released and its killer....his two of them will come out in august...he going to win another award in mallu this year..keep up vidya
