  I happened to watch PS's interview with Sun TV (Vanakkam Thamizhagam). It is still in the archives section of SunTV at numtv.com. The interview ran for about 30 minutes.
  1. When asked if she and TMS used to compete with each other while singing duets, PS told (singing 'chandrothayam oru pennaanatho' and 'mellappo mellappo') that the composers, mentioning MSV, measure every bit and tell them what they need to do, there was no chance for any competition.
  2. She mentioned that
  she liked V.Kumar very much
  she has sung more variety of songs in Telugu than Tamil
  Ilayaraja is a real genius
  Yesudas has been telling her to do a 'carnatic classical' concert. she says it is too difficult for her to do a concert.
  Generally the interview was interesting. This is the first time I see her in an interview on TV.
