  I heard Tenali. Definitely not upto the mark of ARR. From KanduKondaen*2, the cassete sale of ARR is reduced. In trichy I have a cassette shop named Angu Musicals. The sale is very poor in this. Now the sale is good for Rishi. In my shop the records sales are Muthalvan, Kathalukky Mariyathai & Padayappa & Kushi is last 3 years. I feel ARR has to be change his style to be at No:1 always in cassette sale.

  Hi!
  I find thenali better than Kandukonden Kandukonden.The song "Thenali OOO" by Shankar Mahadhevan & Clinton is very good.
  In the song "injirango" by Chithra & Kamal Hasan,the latter's voice sounds different.His voice is really good in that song.

  Just listened to Rhythm and was extremely disappointed - I think there is a tendency to just praise ARR compositions as Aha, Oho, unless he gives absolute trash - In my opinion only one song was worth listening to (even that in comparison to others - the one sung by Shankar Mahadeven), others did not have any purpose or completeness - I also would like to point out the randomness in composition and bad singing in the 4th song - one by Sadhana Sargam.
  And Ayyo Pathikichu was horrible! After the songs ended the CD had some old ARR songs like "En Veetu Thotathil" - All I could do was enjoy that!

  I dont know who wrote this.. but I hate rediff for such articles, where they throw baseless comments on south indian cinema. They have been doing this for a long time and I literally hate that.

  u are probably right. ARRs songs are known to grow up on u but Tenali fails. Even in Poorkalam the interludes are a bit of a disappointment. The Pallavi showede a lot of promise, reminds u of 'vizhiyil vizhundhu idhayam', but then loses its charm.
  
  Anyway a KSRavikumar movie doesnt deserve better even if Kamal is the hero.

  Thenali songs are just OK altho it does grow on u a little. But i am not surprised at its poor quality b'coz Kamal does not like Rahman's music and vice versa. Perhaps Rahman was not in the right mood especially when u know the hero is not fond of yr brand of music. Kamal shud stick to acting.

  tenali ! oops,once again arr has no other option than to be inspired,true...it is.
  title song gives the deja vu feeling of some phil collins song.
  porkkalam engae is an absolute lift from "chiranjeevi,sridevi starrer Kadhal devadhai,music by ilayaraaja,song is "oho ho ho edho mahotsavam"it is a fantasy song.
  the saranam is inspired from the old song mullai malar melae.please cross check this info and get back.
