Aslam Mustafa - New MD for Mitta Mirasu

Has anybody heard the songs from Mitta Mirasu (*ing Prabhu, Roja, Dir: Mu Kalanjiyam)?

Music by debutant (in films) Aslam Mustafa. His past work includes a tamil pop album 'excuse me', a hindi pop album with Shibani Kashyap 'ho gayee hai mohobbat' and a few singing assignments with Rahman, including Love Birds' 'samba samba'.

  saw bitsof these songs on TV. Nothing great. May be wrong movie for his style. Heard get got some best MD award for Terrorist in a film fest. This one will go unnoticed.

  If this guy indeed is the MD for "Terrorist", then he sure has the goods in music. I remember seeing a couple of names in the credits for music. The BGM in Terrorist beats most Indian movies. For instance, he actually knows the meaning of subtlety. Whether he can do songs remains to be seen, but I don't see why he should be blessed with a "This one will go unnoticed" curse.

  I wonder why Aslam talked about Santosh Sivan's Terrorist and getting an award for it!
  
  This page clearly shows that the music was by 2 guys Sonu Sisupal and Rajamani! (whoever they are!)

  I alos read it some where that AM(not anu malik) has done music for SS. Is it Terririst or malli , I don't know.

  I read in some tamil newspaper, that terrorist and malli is done by Aslam mustafa, and this movie third. May be they are wrong.

  'Mitta Mirasu' Audio cassette clearly says 'Isai ARimugam : Aslam Mustafa',
  
  Their ViLamparam says 'ARimuga isaiyil asaththa varukiRaar Aslam Mustafa'.

  Imagine an art film like 'terrorist'. it would have hardly had one and a half scene for RR.?Aslam best MD for that! Oh God!
  I saw the promo clippings in TV ads. I wish they dont play the full song. Shankar Mahadevans voice doesnt suit for Prabu and the songs are so so. No variety at all. What are these fellows doing with the so called Keyboards and computers. The songs are a waste in mittamirasu.

  sonu sisupal is a long-time associate of malayalam director priyadarshan. he's also doing the music for sivan's next, Asoka (he's a London Trinity College product). besides, he's also scripting and directing a malayalam film called kaalachakram.
  rajamani has assisted several music directors in malayalam cinema.
  i think these guys did excellent work in terrorist.

  Yes Cram, I feel so too, 'cos the BGM in Terrorist was incredible. I was just wondering why Aslam got an award for it!!!
  
  Thanks for the info on Sonu and Rajamani. If I'm right Rajamani scores the BGM for most of Shaji Kailash's action movies.
  
  And wrt to Ashoka, is Sonu scoring the BGM? 'cos Anu Malik is scoring music for the songs.
