mujunu was placed no.1 in all shops

after stuppendes hit of minnale i think harris jayaraj was hipped up in the tfm for his quality music and different orchestration.
now,his next album (majnu)was doing outstandingly well in all shops and even vijay tv chikku bukku place the album in no.1 position.no other MD other than AR has achieved this height in there openings.can any body post there suggestions.

  What 'height' you are talking about ? No. 1 position in countdown shows ? If that is the case, Then the fact is that When MSV / TKR / KVM / Ilayaraja opened their innings (!!??) there were no countdown shows at all.
  
  If it is achieving No. 1 position in TFM itself, I don't think harris has achieved it, He is a strong prospect, that I agree - if people overlook Deva, They will do the same to harris's copied songs and one day he will be on top, I Agree.
  
  NOM meant for Harris, He is selling more albums than any other MD today, But is it the only thing that matters ?

  Majnu was released before julu 8, 2001 (I started a thread on majnu & L&M on that day. It is almost a month that the album has picked up. And, if people like it then they like it. Khushi also was an instant hit. It was a hit for almost a year.
  
  But, STAR came in to chikku bukku's first place in first or second week itself. I watched it. This Majnu's stuff in CB I didn't watch it. I missed it. can any body confirm.?

  Harris Jayaraj - There is high expectation on him. But his style is not distinct from others. Who had that distinct style only got the number 1 position. MSV, IR and ARR are the best examples. Harris Jayaraj will be a good MD like Sankar Ganesh and Chandrabose.
