POOVELLAM KETTUPPAR..highly underrated..the best album,lyrics in recent times.

YSR has come up with superb compositions...to give 5 great numbers.

After listening to all the latest albums..PK seems to be the better bet for a good album.

Atlast 1 album in which you can really listen to some pleasant lyrics..."IRVA PAGALAA"...being the best as far as lyrics are concerned. VM and Valli would find it wortwhile to listen to these songs.

I would like DF'ers to contribute their opinion.

  I have already anointed this album as the best in recent times and the album of the year to contend with in the new reviews thread. Curiously enough, not many share this view that you and I do. Oh, well, they're really missing out on some great stuff.

  I have listened to PKP songs many times now. I like almost all the songs now [Ofcourse that doesnt mean I like YSR's choice of singers:-)& some of his rthym stealing from ARR & IR]. Definitely much better that "peedaiyappaa" Songs.[Udhayaa:-))]

  PKP songs are definitely gd except for YSR's choice of playback singer in 'CBI enge'. But yet to see whether YSR will emerge as force to reckon with in tamil film music. His style is similar to that of Rahman. I see alot of IR, Deva and ARR in his songs. YSR has yet to mature in music.

  this guy is surely one to watch out for. "churidar anindhuvantha swargame" is real neat. but, i wish that he does not get "inspired" by ARR or Ricky Martin, but gives us only original tunes in future.
