I THINK YSR HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL TO OVERTHROW AR.OBVIOUSLY AR HAS HAD A LONGER CAREER IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY BUT GIVEN TIME AND EXPERIENCE, YSR WILL DO VERY WELL.IN IRAVA PAGALA, HE SHOWS HIS TRUE ABILITY AS A MD SHOWING THAT HIS MUSIC IS DEEP AND LEAVES A LONG LASTING EFFECT..LONG LIVE YUVAN AND HIS MUSICAL ABILITY

COME ON EDEN, YOU KNOW WHAT IT MEANS!!!DON'T YOU THINK THAT THERE IS ROOM FOR MORE THAN ONE MD ON THE MARKET?AR IS PROVIDING QUALITY MUSIC LIKE MANY OTHER MD'S BUT THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BEEING THAT HIS MUSIC IS CONSISTANT.YSR IS A BEGINNER IN THE FIELD, GIVE HIM A COUPLE OF YEARS AND I'M SURE THAT HE WILL BE EVEN BETTER THAN AR.YSR HAS THE ABILITY TO COMPOSE MUSIC WITH BOTH WESTERN AND EASTERN BEATS WELL.IN UEU,THE SONG VENNILAA VELIYE VARUVAAYAA SHOWED TRUE MUSICAL EMOTION AS WELL AS CREATIVITY.LIKEWISE IN CLEOPATRA AND MONA LISA, HE SHOWED US A GOOD BLEND OF WESTERN BEATS WITH A SUBTLE MIX OF INDIAN MUSIC.
AR HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR A WHILE AS WELL BUT FOR A FAIRLY NEWCOMER, YOU HAVE TO GIVE YSR HIS CREDIT BECAUSE IF ANYTHING, COMING FROM A MUSICAL FAMILY, HE SHOLUD HAVE BEEN INFLUENCED BY IR'S MUSIC BUT IT IS NOT SO AND IT IS DIFFICULT TO RELATE YSR'S STYLE OF MUSIC TO IR'S.
I'VE ONLY BEEN LISTENING TO HIS MUSIC FOR A WHILE BUT I DID BUY THE BLAST ALBUM AND I MUST SAY I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY IT.THE WIDE VARIETY OF STYLES AND RAGAS USED IN THIS ALBUM HAVE REALLY HELPED TO ACHIEVE ITS HIGH STANDARD.IF ANYONE HEAR MAMA MAMA YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THAT HE HAS SHOWN A CLEAR KNOWLEDGE OF CARNATIC MUSIC BECAUSE THE INTERLUDE BETWEEN THE POORVANGA AND THE UTTARANGA FIT THE PIECE WELL AND DO NOT STRAY AWAY FROM THE CARNATIC STYLE. ALSO THE SWARA PIECES HAVE BEEN ADAPTED AND VARIATED FROM THE ORIGINAL EVVARI BODHANA TO GIVE A HARMONIOUS AND MELODIOUS EFFECT.
LONG LIVE YUVAN AND GOOD LUCK TO HIM FOR A PROSPEROUS AND GREAT CAREER AS AN MD WITH A METEORIC RISE IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE!!!

Cool down, Sujitha! I only had a dig at the language -`gloomlight' is hitherto unknown usage to me:-) Does it mean `limelight'?
I have nothing for or against YSR, BTW:-)))
If he has real talents & also fortunate enough, he may become more popular & even outshine his Dad, let alone ARR!

sujithA,
it is convention in most discussion forums to use caps only to express one's outrage or some point very forcefully. our respectable king (correctA, sir? :-) ) meant the same. if you notice, he cap'ed the word please. hope THIS [:-)]helps.

Sujitha: Obviously your knowledge of Carnatic music is even less than YSR. The Mama Mama song in The Blast is a 'funny' lyricised version of the popular Aboghi Varnam in Carnatic music. He has done nothing except plagurised the notes of the Varnam and jazzed it up a bit with some awful musical accompaniment and then used two well known Classical singers to render it.
As for your Caps, chill, the problem is that the human eye finds it very difficult to read, hence people have complained. Why do you think there are two cases for letters? For this reason only. It is easier to read if only the first word or nouns in sentences are capitalised, that's all!
:)
