Alli Arjuna.....ARR'S next Release.

On 1st January --2001...ARR himself is releasing the album of his latest film ALLI ARJUNA. This has lyrics by Vairamuthu and Vali. Film is directed by SARAN, who is switching over loyalty from Bharathwaj. Film has Manoj and Richa in lead and releasing on FEB--14th...Valantine's Day.
ARR has composed six songs for this film at Bharathi Raja's request. Surprisingly this is city based film....in spite of BR's son as Hero....
WILL this music worth buy????....Ahmed.

  I tend to believe the paper. ARR needs minimum 1 month for a song. 'Kizhakku Cheemaiyile' (or Karuthamma, don't remember) padathukku BR 3 thadavai shooting poyittu thirumba vandaaru. Tune readi aakalai. (After UK trip, ARR must have been heavily inspired, so he may deliver faster). Guessing...

  What trend did Vijay (iLaya thaLapathi) set? The only new thing he did is that dance movement, stretching his hands parellel to the ground and shaking his head from left to right. Even that is not being followed by anybody else, for it to qualify as a 'trend'.

  some news about our ali arjuna...
  
  Apparently in one of the functions this dude started talking in english (i've had enough seeing barathiraja speaking in ingleeesss)and Radhika seems to have told him to switch over to tamil for which ali arjuna had said he wudn't talk in tamil or sthg to that effect (heard from a friend )

  u shouldn't put too much expectations in AA, cause at least half of the songs are dubbed from hindi film 'one two ka four' or some other film, i'n not sure... chances are high that it could become a new 'star'...so don't expect too much from this album, and then be totally disappointed...
  lets wait for 'kannathil muthamittal' (Mani Ratnam), 'udhaya' and 'kadhal virus'...

  Saran, check your facts before you sneer! Didn't u hear what raycas said? The music of AA is from the earlier Hindi movies done by ARR several years ago. So if there was a delay, it was because of the producer and director of the movie, not because ARR was waiting to be inspired!
