which music is more great ?? (IR,MR),(IR,Balumahen)(IR,BRaaja).....))

Guys ....
IR has given great songs differently to different people....below is the small list of combinations ...which one do u think is best and has more depth ??
1.IR, Balachander
2.IR,Bhagya raaja
3.IR, Bharathi raja
4 IR,Maniratnam
5.IR,Raj Kiran
6.IR,Vamsi(Telugu)
7.IR,Baalumahendra
....thats all i can remember

  IR - Vamsi. Because he is the only director in Telugu who has taken such good tunes out of IR. Also to some extent may be Kodandarami Reddy. Iam not including TFM directors' names because they are too many in number

  HE HAS WORKED WITH. THE GENIUS HAS CHURNED OUT

  SERIOUS MOVIES INVLOVING ONLY COMEDY ACTORS AND NEW
  COMING DIECTORS.
  YOU CAN CARRY OUT THIS COMPARISON IN THE CASE OF ARR.
  ARR HIMSELF HAS SAID, HE NEEDS A LOT OF INSPIRATION
  FROM DIRECTOR IN ORDER TO COME OUT WITH GOOD TUNES.
  SO, FOR ARR QUALITY OF SONGS VARIES WITH DIRECTOR
  AND ACTORS INVLOVED IN THE MOVIE. IT'S NOT SO
  IN THE CASE OF MAESTRO. AS EVERYBODY KNOWS ARR
  HAS GIVEN HIS BEST OF ALL TO MANIRATNAM .
  BUT FOR IR, HE HAS HIS BEST WITH ALMOST EVERY DIRECTOR.
  HE DOESN'T NEED EXTERNAL INSPIRATION.
  SOME EXCELLENT SONGS OF IR FOR NON-SOLEMN THEMATIC
  MOVIES:
  1.Sundari Neeyum ( Michael Madhana...out and out comedy)
  2.Oyyari Godharamma ( Preminchu Pelladu)
  3.Siva ( with debutant RamGopal Verma)

  IR - P.Vasu. This guy totally relied on IR for his hits - Chinna Thambi, Walter Vetrivel and on IR and Rajini for Panakkaaran and Mannan. Atleast the other directors had good stories to tell.

  Bharath - its R.V.Udayakumar..... his first movie, forgot its name, a Sivakumar and Prabhu movie, a thriller i think.... it had very good songs.... i think Kizhaku Vaasal is also by RVU only....

  Music mouse, vaidhEhi kAthirundhAL & amman kOil kizhakkAlE are by R Sunderrajan. (some of the other movies this guy did with IR are: payaNangaL mudivadhillai, nAn pAdum pAdal, rAjAthi rAjA, kungumachimizh, mella thirandhadhu kadhavu)

  Deiva Vakku was directed by M.S.Madhu. It was produced by T.Shiva a Raja visuvAsi :).. who also produced nadavana theru, rasayya etc.

  IR has given awesome music for a whole lot of directors. I would rank them in the following order:
  
  1. IR - Mahendran.
  johnny, nenjathai killathey had absolutely exquisite music. metti oli kaatrodu (metti), thazhampoovey (kai kodukkum kai), azhagiya kanney (uthiri pookal) were also great songs.
  
  2. IR - Bharathi raja.
  Sheer quality and quantity-wise this would be hard to beat. alaigal oivathillai, kadalora kavithaigal etc.
  
  3. IR - Mani Ratnam.
  agni natshatram, mouna raagam, pagal nilavu etc. had fabulous songs
  
  4. IR - RV Udayakumar
  I loved ejamaan, kizhakku vasal, rajakumaran, chinna kounder
  
  5. IR - Balachander
  pudhu pudhu arthangal, sindhu bhairavi etc.
  
  IMO the rest are all pretty much equal - IR gave awesome music for all of them - Baalumahendra, Fazil, Raj Kiran, R Sundarrajan, etc.
  
  I dont know much about his Telugu/Malayalam songs

  From the IR-Sridhar combo, you missed out - Oru Odai Nathiyaagiradhu (their 1st movie together?), Thanthu Vitten Ennai (early Vikram starrer 1991, that has some great, but not very noticed songs)
  
  I think the IR-Balu Mahendra combo is extra-special, can think of the foll. offhand
  
  Tamil - Moodupani, Moondram Pirai, Neengal Kettavai, Vanna Vanna Pookkal, Marupadiyum, Raman Abdullah, Rettai Vaal Kuruvi, Un kannil neer vazhindhal, Sathi Leelavathi
  Malayalam - Olangal, Yathra, Oomakkuyil
