Songs which have lengthy single 'takes'

ever noticed that the evergreen 'Pettai rap' song in 'Kaadhalan' had a lengthy single 'take' of choreography? It starts with "oranna rendanna" and ends b4 'saarayam karuvaadu...'... excellent work by Raju sundaram and team.
other songs taken this way can be noted in this thread.

  what i meant was the picturisation..without a cut, a part of the song would hv been picturised in a lengthy shot...and not the way it was sung... :-)
  
  arvindswamy/mamootty starrer 'pudhayal' had a song without a cut i think, featuring Sakshi/Arvind swamy and junior artistes... probably the first in Tamil films..

  Yaaro Yaarodi from Alai Payuthe.
  I was impressed when the camera will focus on Shalini while she dances (wit a group) & then runs through various scenes in the wedding house. It must have taken quite alot of preparation & effort to coordinate so many people.

  How about Om Namaha from Geethanjali (Idhayathai thirudadhae in tamil). Nagarjuna and Girija hug and kiss with the song in the background, that's about it!

  There are quite a lot of songs in old movies (before 80's) where the picturisation was done in just 2 to 5 shots. I have noticed it in movies like nenjilor aalayam, bagappirivinai, karnam etc.. My father used to say that in 50's and 60's, the whole movies where taken in 40 to 50 shots max with live audio recording... unbelievable!

  there is a recent(99?) film with karthik and kausalya called Pooveli. a great song with a whole lot of casts including manorama sing a really great tune witout a cut. if u watch it u'll see how complicated it was bcs they all move around etc...

  "Metro channel" song in the movie 'Indu'... the 2nd half has a long piece of dancing by Prabhudeva with a kinda small jerk in-between (either intentionally or unintentionally)... Prabhudeva has this knack of doing songs in lengthy takes i believe.
