  What a dissaipont work by Vidyasagar. No songs are good. He cant take advantage of the succes with dhool, parthiban kanavu, thirumalai and iyarkai.
  
  "Nee Vendum" reminds a lot of Ilayaraja songs. 5/10
  "Matha Matha" Did they sing in tamil? 3/10
  "Ohh Baby" is the worst song, the worst ever by Vidyasagar. 0/10
  "Pinchu malai" a amateur song even karthik cant rescue this song 1/10
  "Soddu Soddai" should be avaoided 3/10

  Listened to the songs and have been hooked by some already. Matha matha is a unique one for tamils though it has an African flavor to it. Nee Vendum is a beatiful song, nothing wrong in sounding like IR songs....it simply means it is good. Sottu sottaai is another melody so soothing to the ears...guys listen and you will know...the so called peoples Voice is nonsense talk...

  "Matha Matha" songs is a mixture of Tamizh nadu's unique "dapanguthu" and african style. It has some amazing beats and Vidhyasagar has given an excellent and different song.
  "Nee Vendum" and "Pinju Mazhai" are excellent melodies and Karthik voice is so sweet to hear in these songs. After SPB, Karthik is the best singer who puts his soul in each songs.
  Overall, the songs are good to hear.

  After Joot, Srikanth is all geared up for another action thriller. Varnajaalam will be an offbeat film produced by G.J.Cinema, where Srikanth will be cast apposite Sada of Jayam fame.
  
  Debutant director Nakulan Ponnusamy says that Varnajaalam is “different” from run-of-the-mill commercial films and is made like a Hollywood slicker. He also adds that it will be a ‘new experience’ for the audience who are fed up of formulaic action films.
  
  In the film Srikanth plays a guy who paints signboards and hoardings and the character has shades of grey. He does not bash up a dozen thugs at one go but uses his brains more than brawn to accomplish his mission. Sada is a medical student who falls in love with the artist. Another heroine is played by Kutty Radhika, who made an excellent debut in Iyarkai. She plays the role of Srikanth’s best friend.
  
  The cast also has Nassar, Thailaivasal Vijay, Saranya, Riaz Khan and Karunas. Balamurugan is the cameraman. Super Subbarayan is the stunt master. V.Gnanavel and V.Jayaprakash produce the film. Vidyasagar is the music director.

  Many directors says the the movie is different but when you see it you'll realize that you have seen the scenes before in tamil movies. I bet this movie is a cheap copy of an english movie.
