Guys, this is the thread in which we have to compile the awards - National Awards, State govt awards, Filmfare awards and all sort of awards for our TFM artistes. I hope I will get enough Input . Thank you guys.

the 4th one , is the remake of Devar Maga, and the song is in the tune of Inji Iduppazagha , for which SJ got her 4th national award.
she has got 11 kerala state govt. awards. regarding tamil and telugu I don't have any idea

Janaki got her II national award for the song from a directed by Vamsi, music IR, it was Bhanu Priya's First Telugu Movie , I think it is Sithara, but can't remember the song.

Janaki's second national award winning song is "Vennello Godari andham" from Sithara. Beautiful song and wonderfully sung.

She has got 26 Andhra State Awards, 2 Kerala State Awards, and how many awards did she get i n Tamil Nadu?

KJY got National awards for 7 times.
He has got 23 Kerala Govt Awards, 7 times Tamil nadu state govt. awards( is this number correct?), and I don't know about Andhra.
He has got Padmashri and Padma Bushan Award.
He has got Doctorate.
He is the Aasthana Gaayakan of Kerala

SPB has got 6 National Awards(out of which 1 is a Kannada film - Gaanayogi Panchakshari Gavayi MD - Hamsalekha)
I don't have the correct number of awards of stare govt awards.

One point to note is, SPB, SJ, KJY,VJ, PS have not any Karnataka State GOvt Awards. It is because they give awards onl;y to ppl belong to Karnataka. It is really very sad. That too , they staaaaarted giving awards from 1993 or 1994 I guess.

Susheela was the first female in India to get the National award 1969 - uyarntha Manidhan , at this year best female and male singer categories were made,

SWARNA LATHA HAD WON THE NATIONAL AWARD FOR "PORALLAE PONNUTHAAYE" FROM THE FILM KARUTHAMMA COMPOSED BY A.R.RAHMAN.
HARINI WON THE TAMIL NADU STATE AWARD FOR THE SONG "MANAM VIRUMBUTHAE" IN THE FILM NERUKKU NER.

no geeth the songs u have mentioned are selected for tamil nadu state govt awards.
both were given by our late CM bharat ratna M.G.R.

Chithra is the only singer to have got awards instituted by all the 4 state govts. of the south - Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka and AP.
These are her 5 national awards :

It seems she also won an award in Orissa for an Oriya song but she said in an interview that she did not receive any official communication from the govt. but only came to know thru' the MD and that she hasnt seen the award so far!
Can anyone give me the link of Indupushpam from Vaishaali? I have been longing to hear that song.
