Pennalla pennalla roja poo is a good song
but it resembles one MSV song pasum manimuthu rojakkal pillaikal ellorum rajakkal (atleast the
pallavi). That song is from a kamal, sridevi *er.
Another good song in the movie is 'Idhu irava pagala' by KJY & VJ very good song (lyrics, orchestration etc.,) especially the situation.
The hero explains about what he sees through
his eys to the lover who is blind. I think the lyrics was by Kannadhasan.

Bhaskar:
naNbaa, I disagree with you. If there is a need
to understand something clearly, I think we should
start and discuss even controversial topics in
this forum. But the important thing that has
to be kept in mind is that unnecessary provacative
remarks, kiNdals, personal remarks etc have to be
carefully avoided; that's all. With 100 fellows
there are 100 opinions. Given that, controversies
will arise naturally in a big field such as TFM. If we
decide not to get into discussions on such things
then the forum will become a big bore. We have all
matured from past happenings; the thing I would
really love to see right now at the forum is a new
controversial topic opened by someone and we all
express our opinions frankly, with passion, and yet,
the discussion remains sane, healthy and interesting.
If such a thing starts happening, this forum will
have an interesting and bright future.
Whether or not this current thread will invite
interesting discussions, I am not at all sure.
As Ramki has rightly said, enough has been said
and discussed on this kind of stuff, and I have
this feeling that no one is even interested in
opening this thread to see whether anything is
there or not. People would rather prefer to see
some boring rerun episode of Green Acres instead.

Nicely put Sathiya Keerthi. We @ TFM Page team are also NOT against discussion on controversial topics. This is an open forum and everyone is free to discuss topics he/she is interested in. What we want is people keep some net etiquette in mind before posting anything. Pl see the How-to document we have linked from the main page. Let me quote a para that deserves closer attention:
Please remember that people all over the world are reading your words. Do not attack people if you cannot persuade them with your presentation of the facts. Screaming, cursing, and abusing others only serves to make people think less of you and less willing to help you when you need it. So, keep your politeness level high.. : )
So long as the posts don't contain severely critical remarks or personal attacks, we'll have no need to remove the posts or delete threads. Hope you understand. Thanks.

Suresh :
Now if you are comparing the songs composed by IR and ARR for similar situations, I'd say that it has varied from cases to cases. For instance, ARR revels (atleast used to) in a situation like a Prabhu Deva dance number (eg. Mukkala Muqabla) as compared to IR (Mastana mastana), while a song like "Nee sirucha deewana" (from Bombay) might not be as impressive as "Nee oru kaadhal sangeetham" (Nayakan) - both feature the hero and the heroine in locales of Bombay ...
And so the comparison goes...

Shane
The film is Raasiaya released in 1995. Correction: Prabhu Deva didn't sing the song, but he danced for the song.
