connection between IR and uriah heep

Hi all;
just wanted to share this piece of info.
IR's ahaaa vandiruchu from japanil kalyanaraman was supposedly inspired by the song
"Lady in Black" from the album "Salisbury" by the band uriah heep.
( i have heard both the songs and there are some similarities )
incidentally this band performed a few years ago in IIT madras.
if anyone has radhey en radhey from the same movie and adhikaalai suba velai from naptu are they willing to share it with me ?

  Seeing the heading i thought this to be another mudslinging thread and the writer has misspelt "Urea" and "Heap"

  Me too got mislead by the heading :) Thought Shyam was comparing IR to Uriah Heep, the despicable character in 'David Copperfield' !!

  Shyam...ur bang on target. There are similarities. For the record, Uriah Heep's album Salisbury came out in 1970 while Jappanil Kalyanaraman came in 1984. Boy, this sure is a good find!

  BTW, Aaha vanthiruchu was also a part of Jappanil Kalyanaraman's prequel, Kalyanaraman too wasnt it? In any case Kalyanaraman came in 1979 - so no major issue there!
