Does anyone have any info abt new singer Karthik..he sang nenthukiten in star and moondrezhuthu in paarthale paravasam.

  He is one of the rare 'new' singers who have sung under IR, ARR, KR, YSR (any others ?)

  Also the song 'Sundari Vanthalam' is a nice song with a lot of singers, first sube sung then sathana then unni.. wov great experience. But it remember to me the song 'Oru maina kunju .. dandakkudandan dandanda dandakkudandan'.

  I think i have seen this guy in a cultural festival in IITMadras (Saarang- 2000). He sang for DG Vaishnav and his name I guess is Karthikeyan. He sang Ilamai Itho Itho, Ilaya Nila and one other song. he was really good, espescially the Ilamai itho song, where he sung all that SPB has sung in the originl song (those gimmicks that SPB does are really tough ones to do) Due to some appaling judging, he got only the third place. But I guess he charmed one and all. And he hs proven himself by entering into films.I just think it is the same guy who calls himself "Karthik" now. he is now without a mousch. I don't know if my assumption is right, but this guy sure has talent I don't know why but his voice sounds sort of different now, compared to his voice two years back in that cul-fest.
