Baradwaj the decent Musician

Why nobody talk about this guy? Everyone being around commercialized releases of YSR and VS. His style is unique. I am a fan of him from Kadhal Mannan.

And why is this latest movie KALAT PADAI completely ignored despite the fact it is far more superior to any other commercial hits lately.

Listeo to "Manitha,Manitha", "Kagitha Odam", "Imagaialin Oram", Malaiyo Puyalo" and tell me if i am wrong.

  Hmm, this should be an interesting topic, certainly something we DFers don't shed light on often.
  
  I haven't heard many of BW's compositions. OF the ones i heard, I think 'Pandavar Boomi' has good songs. To an extent, songs in 'Rojaavanam' are also good. I remember seeing one song in 'Roja Koottam', which is junk.

  He is good. Not overly westernised. But
  
  "Saththamillatha Thanimai Ketaen" song was glorified when it came out
  
  I never liked that composition. Seems music and vocal stayed really far from each other.

  I like his irregular bit songs which sometimes dont get picturiezed in movies.
  
  1.Nathiyil saayum naanal polae- Pooveli
  2.En seithaai nenje.. - Amarkalam
  3.Chinna vayasila odipidichom - Padavar Boomi
  4.Ennulle Ennule - In the movie its cut into bits.

  In my opinion this guy is not worthy to be discussed. I remember an interview with this guy in Jaya TV by Abdul Hameed some time back which was a scrap.. At the end of the p'gramme abdul hameed requested him to compose a tune for the viewers and The ultimate comedy was b.Waj was trying..trying and landed up humming the tune from Amarkalam "ennoda padadha..". Is this the kind of quality we have to discuss about??.

  This guy has flair . probably is a long distance runner.
  I liked " Poove punnagai kaatu" inspite of Sonu Nigam.
  his" Roja kuttam" music interlude is also good.
  His "Paandavar Bhoomi" music I thought was average but quickly changed my mind after seeing the movie. The songs except the item no"ye sambha " fitted into the situations quite well.

  Malaiyo Puyalo by Srinivas & co is good as well.

  hi everyone,
  i don't know why you guys exclude him from the other MDs. I think this guy has good talent, especially with gitars. I think he doesn't get alot of big budget songs as a result he didn't shine much. I've always liked his music, sometimes even when the movie sucked his music really stands out.
