  actually whenever we hear these love ekkam/failure songs, we remember the old days waiting on the street, just waiting for that particular gal on the street, kidding with other friends in the platform, dressing well for her and waiting sharply, going to the temple...

  How about "Un Perai chonnaley" from Dumm Dumm Dumm?
  There's a line in this song which goes like "Uyir tholan enbhaya , Valipokkan enbhaya" . There's a lot of meaning to it that just few appealing words. She asks "Are you my soulmate or just a passer-by?". That reminds me of Paul Simon's -"Leaves that are green turned to brown".
  
  In that song he renders - "Hello , Hello, Hello, Hello! Good bye! Goodbye Goodbye! Goodbye! that's all there is !! Leaves that are green turned to brown!!" .
  
  In Dumm Dumm Dumm song , I think the lyrics are awesome and the tune is catchy. Hats off to KR.

  I don't know if someone has already mentioned in this long thread about "Pirionrai santhithean muthal murai netru" from Priyadha varam vendum.
  This is a very normal song but if seen in movie with that emotions shared between the lead pair,it turns out to be more than a great romantic ballad.
  
  Again if not taken seriously , this reminds of "Baby when you're gone. I realise i'm in love" a duet by Bryan Adams and MelC.
