Three Roses by Kaarthik Raja

I heard this album and it was a great disappointment to me. KR seems to have run out of steam and his songs are boring and lack any sort of effort in them. What has happened to KR?

  though, 3 roses, doesn't deliver a blast, it is definitely brilliant in pieces,
  especially 'oh dil se pyaar!'- which is a pretty fantastic dance creation.
  
  working within the limits of the theme and scope of the film, is a virtue and constraint at the same time.
  
  i feel that Karthik Raaja, is definitely covering lots of musical grounds, genres and is producing individualized quality music.
  
  some of his future projects are:
  katradhu kaathal alavu
  boyfriend
  do it
  
  praveen, as for your mentioning about
  'running out of steam', 'boring' or 'lacking any sort of effort' etc., while you are entitled
  to your opinions, it would hardly be a generic
  comment unless you have
  1. measured pre-existing 'steam content' of Karthik Raaja
  2. have a predefined yardstick for boredom,
  especially senstive to Karthik Raaja compositions.
  3. have been present at the composition sessions
  and have evidence as to whether Karthik Raaja was just sitting sloppily in a chair lacking effort, while the producer and director gave him song situations or have any other evidence which proves that half an hour of music can be produced by the lack of any sort of effort.
  
  but seriously, the days of music monopoly are over, and there is a lot of talent in the tamizh film music scene. it is impossible to imagine that only one is going to dominate, and there is no need to, either.

  After hating it on the first hearing, it is getting better after hearing it a few times. There are few things one can notice but the songs are no great shake, nevertheless a decent effort. Promising.

  Three Roses songs are awful. Songs sound like they are rehashes of DDD and UKP. It is sad to see KR out of steam already.

  divakar, it has already been mentioned in the Karthik Raaja Lounge thread.. the song, give me hugs of the album, mitr - my friend has been credited to karthik raaja, per the movie listings, and that is the reason for the movie being listed.
  
  it is understood that bhavatharini scored the music for the movie and composed for most of the other songs.
