Rare Original Songs of DEVA!!!!!!

While its being told that DEVA finished around 300 films,like all of you i also very eager to know how many songs he did of his own!

Let me start with one,"oru pen pura" from "annamalai" seems like an original..(if i am not wrong!)

so the detectives be ready!!!!!

  I watched a part of the 'deva 300' show performed by lakshman shruthu on TV when I was in India recently. they invited Deva to sing a song on that occasion. He first cribbed that no one recognises him as a MD and recalled how no one in DD where he was previously working recognised him when he walked in after a few years. and then he sang 'salomiyaa' which ironically is a lift from 'sayoni' a pakistani pop song. So much for Deva and his craving for recognition!!!

  Deva's songs will have "originality" only until their "origin" is discovered. I think deva understood only the first half of the term "Origin-ality" - adhu dhaan ivlo surtal velai pannuraar!!

  SS, I dont know if the tune is original or not, but the first interlude music is lifted from the interlude music of a hindi song. This hindi song is from the movie "SAAJAN". I dont remember the song. I think it should be either "BAHUT PYAR KARTE HAIN" or "JEEYE THO JEEYE KAISE"

  It seems Deva was recently given the title "Isai Perarasu". The title was given by none other than Vaira Muthu. Yaaru, yaaruku enna title kodukaradhu-nu oru vivasthaiyae illama pochu!!

  I think deva mis-understood the word "copyright", "copy' adikiradhu dhaan "right"nu ninaichutaaru. Can someone tell him what copyright means?? The more numbers of Deva I listen, the more pained I get!
