Which MD's voice are best and suits for the song which they sung? (IR or ARR or DEVA)

All times in EST +10:30 for IST.

Music directors like IR ,ARR and DEVA had make a lot of nice songs which had sung by other singers.But when IR,ARR and DEVA sang their own song, which voices for which songs make you all feel happy to listen the song again and again.For me DEVA's and IR's voices sometime suits for their some songs.But ARR's voice are simply superb and suits all his songs.Comments please.

  He also used his voice for Vellai Pookal song in Kannathil Muthamittal which if Saddam or Bush knows tamil then, there definately no wars.The song are really touchable and patriot as Vande Mataram which also has his voice...

  Yes, I would agree with Sabeek's statement. However, I enjoy it when an MD sings their own material. I think it adds sincerity, even though the voice is not perfect for the song.

  ARR has good voice.Even IR have a good voice. His songs like Kadhal Oviyam, Raja Rajathi Raja are good. I am not tellling that, only these 2 songs are good. All of his songs are Good and are HIts. No argument in this. His all songs ae hits. I don't anything abt Mr.Deva

  IR is not above a little kindifying once in a while and likes to keep people in their place (as have most others - MSV did that with TMS in Kadalikka Neram Illai). One way of doing this is to reserve a few sure hit numbers for himself. In "AlaigaL Oivadillai" - Kaadal Oviyam was sung by IR ; while Aayiram Taamarai by SPB. I have a peculiar problem with these songs - I dislike Aayiram Taamarai; but dislike IR's voice in the other song! SPB is not a superman (no one is except the paramporuL whatever you call him Allah, Jesus, Narayana, Buddha, Parasakthi or whatever is) but there are quite a few songs of IR which seem to have been written specifically for SPB but taken away by IR. Kaadhal Oviyam is one such song that would sound REALLY good with SPB. Wasn't the Raja Rajadi Rajendar Raja in Telugu (Gharshana) sung by SPB? IR did bring up Mano as a replacement for SPB. Now Mano seems to have found his own groove (needless to say he is a staunch fan of SPB who reportedly at one time asked him to follow Rafi's style of singing).
  
  Deva's numbers are some of the best he has composed - Kavala padade sahodara, VeLLirikka etc.
  
  But of all of them my fave continues to be MSV - the Kannadasan-MSV sung compositions are some of the most soulful ones ever.

  its true that IR reserves for himself some songs for which the orchestration is pathbreaking(Poomalaiye, Kaadhal Oviyam, Adi Aathaadi, Sangathil paadatha kavithai, valli*2 ena vanthaan) or the 'pheel' is melancholic(Metti Oli, Naan thedum sevanthipoo). But when he feels he cant do justice to a song, he lets others have their way. Though Amma Endaazhaikkaadha was composed within months of his own mother's death, he allowed Yesudas to sing it after trying it initially. This is what I read somewhere.

  Amma Endrazhaikkaadha by KJY is one of those songs that will move saint and sinner alike. Christian friends of mine tell me that the song personifies Mary maatha like none other does. Muslim friends tell me that even as the wise pirs have said that 'mother's feet are greater than jannat (paradise)' this song reminds them of that. We sing "annapurni sadapurne..' before we eat; 'solladi sivasakthi...' before we undertake a task. This one song is a universal devotional song that can be sung by anyone, anytime and will earn that person infinite grace of the Mother. After Kali wrote poetry on Kalidasa's tongue she deputed Sarasvati/Kalaivaani to give the kadaksham to IR. The song was reprised in "Janani..." with IR singing it himself but it somehow doesn't sound that good.
  
  IR is excellent at high pitched numbers starting with the 16 Vayadinile opener.

  during an interview in vijay tv,deva said that,when he sing and showed for the title song of Baatsha,rajini said him that deva himself to sing the song but deva refused that one.just imagine deva voice to rajini!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  He normally sings for track or to complete the recording in time or with the compulsion of directors or heros many times. This is what I have come to known from various intervies and articles on IR.
