Learn carnatic Music thru film music

I have added a new 1+ hour lecture demo on carnatic ragas and film music.I expect a feed back!

  What exactly did you expect to achieve(asking in confusion)? I don't know any technical stuff about music, but I did read many times that songs of sound alike. How come it's not true for a lot of the songs that you selected that are in the same raaga. For Ex:
  
  "thensulavuthE"
  "paal nivavilE"
  "raaga theepam"
  
  all sound differently to me although there raaga is the same. Is it just the notes that are similar? I had thought that there was a similar tune to all raagas. And can we really figure out the raaga of a song if we know another song in the same raag?

  ungaLudaiya paNi vaazhga, vaLarga !! When I heard the some songs of Mohanam , I had goose pimples all over by body. Thx for the great compilation. If possible, try hosting more lectures. They are highly informative.
