Quite Ignored MD SARajkumar... Does he has any talent or not?

As of god creation, nobody is perfect and also nobody is without a talent. I saw in an old interview Director VIkraman talking about SAR. he said SAR has this strong musical power to melt your heart with his melodies. Yes, SAR has have agreed sometimes he lift tunes from bollywood, well everyone is being complained lifting these days.

I always (from 'Sinnapove Mellapesu' when i was a kid) have been a fan of SAR.. some of his melodies are really nice i belive.

  have you ever listen to SA RAJKUMAR's BAck ground music ....he's way better than any one else in the whole WURLD...
  
  one classic example..In the movie unnnidathil ennai koduthei..he some how mustered a tune for the song etho oru pattu...

  initially I though you were praising him... Then I realized it's a vanjapugazhchiani!.

  SA Rajkumar is a good music director but not as good as AR, IR, YSR (thumbs up for the excellent music and songs), VS or Deva. SA Rajkumar often spoils his songs by adding unnessary effects. IT is a horrible trend which is annoying.

  SAR has potential evidenced in:
  -chinna poovae mella paesu
  -sangeetha vaanil sandhoasham paadum
  -most songs in pudu vasantham
  -oh penmaanguyil singaaramaai
  -rosaappoo
  -paarthu paarthu kangal poothirundhaen
  -aahaa enbaargal adadaa enbaargal
  
  Anyone who has done the above merits some appreciation you would think, oh well. All this is not to say that he's lazy and rests on his grab bag of tricks, repeating and copying for convenience. But if forced to work hard and long on a soundtrack, I'm sure he can deliver another Pudhu Vasantham. Too bad his steady demand will probably not let that happen. Still, I will enjoy the one or two good ones that come my way.

  pranav, Priyamanavale songs excellent?????? I just can't swallow that! FOr me, that was the very album that made me despise SAR's style of composition. I especially couldn't stand 'June July Maathathil'. Goodness, 'Enge En Kaathali' (Devathai) is really quite listenable compared to this one! :-)

  SAR composing style for a film is like this.
  
  Song - Male voice
  Same Song - Female Voice
  Same Song - Pathos
  Same Song for BGM
  
  The same song was copied from some of his previous movie or some other movie.
  
  BGM is same for all the film.

  S A Rajkumar is definitely a good music director but at times it seems his songs have a resemblence to his older tunes or some other tune (well I guess that is very acceptable since even IR has said that music composition is a 'Aemaathu' velai since the MD uses the 7 swarams and tries to make the listener forget that is an old tune). I enjoyed reading Chochan's comment - its true to some extent.
  
  But the best part of his music, according to me, is how he brings that subtle happiness and nostagia in his songs like Unnidhathil ennai koduthen, Pudhu vasantham, Poove unakkaga.
  
  Though I wouldnt credit him as the best MD but still his songs do make me enjoy and feel happy and nostalgic. The best part is all his songs seem to have a pattern (something like a signature) that one would konw is its a song composed by SAR. He definitely is a good MD.

  in the above comparison, it is an insult to SG who are definitely better MDs; and to chandrabose whose tunes are by and large original.
