What does everyone think of the singer Chinmayi?

She entered the tamil film arena witth Oru deivam thandha poove in 'Kannathil Muthamitaal'
Now she has a couple of releases in Vaseegara and Whistle.

  i feel she's good....but slightly has an elderly voice...and the voice may not be young enough to sing 'gaanaas' and rap......but she's good...

  her voice is okay , but Tamil pronunciation is wanting.

  Chinmayi is trained in Hindustani classical music and also in carnatic classical. she also is a ghazal singer. she has been singing ghazals for a long time. her guru is her own mother. She does have a very mature voice for 18 years but she has sung a fast number in whistle. that also suits her.. quite versatile i think.. check that song out.. and now there is another song in vaseegara which is already quite popular. its a duet with Hariharan.

  she is not a north indian but she is born and brought up here. I think her tamil pronunciation is quite good. her 'deivam thandha pooove is good i think

  hey chinmayi is a gr8 singer....she is a very brilliant role model 4 the upcoming school-going singers like me....i kind of know her personally and she is a really nice person and has really worked very hard 2 come upto this level...shes' brilliant
