songs that change track

hi folks.
was watching a song from vanjikkottai valiban that goes "raja magaL roka malaR". something that struck me about the song was that it starts off in an arabic-sounding way and then suddenly u have "thappi oadathe thangame", pure local. what i am looking for is such songs, if there are indeed many. one song that belongs in this category is "maasila nilave nam kaathalai magizhvodu" that suddenly travels at 5kmph "anbe, inbam, enge, inge,lalalalalala". another is "oru naaL pothuma".
hope this thread doesn't become fodder for dlkjhdsdfshlhk.

  cram: r u thinking of change of style or just change of pace? If it is the latter then songs like raakkumuthu rakku and antha arabic kadlOram etc. come to mind.
  oru naaL pOthumA doesn't change style exactly, nor does it change pace, but is just a ragamaalika. (Ofcourse one can argue that all songs that change style are that :-). We have already discussed ragamalikas. You can find that in the archive.
  Change of style - one of my all time favourites, yaaradi nee mohini from uththama puthiran.

  hmm. there is another song in VKV: the famous 'sabash sariyaana pOtti' paadal. That too changes style to suit the character of the two protagonists.

  i am not too keen on songs that merely change pace. what i was trying to pinpoint are songs that change track so much that it sounds like another song. like rakkamma kaiya thattu, where suddenly u have this andaL pasuram (hope i am right) interjecting. but then the song veers back on track, albeit in a change of pace, with spb laughing and 'mmmmmmm'ing.

  raja composed a song similar to this in gopura vasalile. a KJ duet that goes naadham ezhundhathadi, that ends with `kanavile lalalala...iravil iNayum iru manathuuuuu'. but i don't think that would qualify the song in this thread.
