The topic 78-82 songs.. prompted me to start this topic. I wonder if there is a topic on this already. Well i start this anyway. I start with one song...
Kavithai Kelungal from Punnagai Mannan
It follows more or like symphony grammar. Terrific mixing of Western beats and Classical music. One of the greatest fusion song in TFM history. He has done too many experimentaion to count. Hence this topic.

I forgot to add something. Let us just analyze his experiment with music also the composition both BGM and Songs. For example Raja Parvai theme music has Jazz, Classical Music, Carnatic combo.

Kaun Dagar is brilliant song by Illayaraja in Lajja a music gels with the movie excellently. He has done quite a good experimentation with this Orchestration.

Thoorathil Naan Kanda Un Mugam from Nizhalgal
great tune in Gowri Manohari.. It has plenty of fusion music. Starts slowly. But the first interlude is an excellent piece. Second interlude is full of experiment with carnatic and classic mixing alternatively. S.Janaki won national award for the telugu version of this song.
