Can anyone let me know the film and song in which Rahman has used no/ almost no music(what a rarity for someone accused of overdoing his music)
Please from Boyz and Rasaathi come close. But I suscept, they are not totally music free. ANy comments

listen to the song " naan porandhu vandhadhu raja vamsathile. the song had only human voice as instruments. complete rythms, bass sections and melody divisions arranges with different voices. it seems they used about 40 voices for the harmony. actually you will not realise it whern u listen to it. it is fabulous!! film maya bazaar 1995

Abishek, actually ur right. Rahman has a lot of no music songs. there is a lot of it, means you got a whole life ahead of you, man. go for it, buddy freak out.

ARR's best song with practically very little music (atleast no percussions at all) is "Suttum ViZhiChudar Dhaan Kannamma..." from KKKK. The song is very well rendered by the great Hariharan.
