  to be fair, both have given some good melodies..
  
  But, Vidyasagar has varieties. sarajukumar gives the SAME tune in different scales..
  
  Moreover, Vidyasagar seems to be much much talented than sarajkumar

  It is Vidyasagar who is better in melodies. S A Rajkumar repeats the same same old tune. I think the listeners would very much appreciate Vidyasagar when they listen to his melodies in malayalam.

  we dont need a topic like this Vidyasagar is simply better because he creates various music styles and has come up with far more hits than SA rajkumar did. The audionce like mds like ar rahman bec he's innovative, in some vidyasagar is innovative too. I agree he has copied hindi arabian and english songs. The only minus is when he tries to put some rap on the songs. AR rahman is the RAPMASTER.

  Vidyasagar - if he copies barbie girl its called inspiration.
  Source - Kumudam.
  
  whereas in SA rajkumars case its called Copying.
