  Looks like most folks cant understand a simple fact.
  
  We in India are taught to use English in a certain way while refering to words of Tamil origin. For instance, we dont have to spell the word Tamil as 'thamizh' everytime, we just make out the 't/th' sound by habit. We grew up this way, used to the manner Tamil movie titles are spelt out in English newspapers, and feel it is right - whereas truth is: When you spell words of Lang X in Lang Y, there is absolutely no perfect way of doing it.
  
  Any Malaysian would have lapped out Mahandren's 2 lines of tamil in no time! The way he used the English script was influenced by his perception of Malay sounds.
  
  Dont play holy cow in this form of Tamil too! :-)
  
  And since you can make out the issue he highlights, dwell on it rather than harp on a non-issue(pun unintended!)

  Tamil ini mella saagum? u need not write tamil(in English) a certain way, but atleast the sounds should come out right naa? (especially if you are trying to say that other ppl are killing it?)
  
  Well anyway coming back to the topic, not a lot of ppl kill tamil nowadays (bcos its mostly one tamil girl lending her voice for all heroines, and mostly all heroes know/speak very good tamil). As far as music goes, yes this trend has to stop.

  I don't like that squeaky voice they often dub for heroines in Tamil films. Sounds like they got a 12 year old to do it. Very annoying.

  I hate the same voice for each heroine. Not only the voice, the mannerism too they copy Jyothiga. thayavu senju Tamil speaking heroine podunka!!
  Suggestions : Sneha(after Parthiban Kanavu ), Ramya Krishnan, Abirami, Bipasha Basu.
