maniratnam introduce another md "DINA"

  Dina is the best thing that can happen to the TFM world. A musician from the Ilaiyaraaja school, Dina was with Gangai Amaran for a long time as his main assistant doing conducting, orchestration and arrangements. And most of the time was playing in his stage performances that gave him plenty of opportunities to play and hone his skills in IR's music style.
  
  If you watch some of the popular TV serials like Chithi or Vazhkai then you would be amazed by the kind of work he does in Re-recording....typical IR style orchestrations and placements and pauses. I think among all the new crop of MDs Dina will come close to IR in doing an effective RR. In this, I would rate Dina much higher than anybody including Karthik Raja or Yuvan.
  
  I only hope that Dina does not change his natural style just for the sake of having a style of his own or compromise his natural IR style melody and orchestration abilities that come so naturally to him.
  
  His brother Barani is the # 2 keyboard player with IR. Barani came to this slot some 8 years back after Murali(Deva's brother) left IR to join his brother. Before that Barani was also with Gangai Amaran's orchestra.
  
  Now Dina is actually set to do two films for Madaras Talkies-one to be directed by Mani Ratnam himself and another one by his assistant Alagan Perumal.

  I like "kaNNin maNi" Chiththi title song. Excellent work. I thought of this guy will enter TFM soon. But bit late. It's better late than never. Few get a golden chance of "Introduction in Mani's film"
  
  Hope he will not copy/paste,polish and recycling like other MDs.
  
  Another new MD with great hope. Let's see.

  'KaNNin maNi' song from Chithi serial and 'Chittukkuch chittaan' from the movie 'Annai' are my favourites by Dina. I sincerely hope he can become a 'Manishrma' of TFM and bring a change to the trend these days. :-)

  I didn't mean to say Dhina's arrival will be a threat to ARR. (Infact I don't like ARR at all).
  
  After seeing the movie "Annai" my comment about the music was "Ethanaiyo thiramainavargal music panna chance kidaikkamal thavikkiraargal. Indha maadhiri aalungalukku music panna chance kidaithum urupadiya panna theriyalaiye".

  I too did feel that.
  Esp. chinna pappa periya pappa title song.
  then later chithi song.
  I did look for the MD in chithi's case. I remember the name well. I didnt know both were same of MD.I use to think why all robbers are MDs and and few good ones in serials.
  
  Esp. this CPPP song was just comedy song. But great one. esp. pushpavanam's songs, he sings as if he has already seen the serial!.

  MANI : U can never get satisfction U got working with IR even if U work with 100 ARRs.

  If Mani had gone with his initial plan of allowing DINA to compose for DDD... I'd dare to think what would've been the outcome...
  
  Although after listening to that Chithi title no. I was infact eagerly waiting 4 Dina's any new offering... and then how mistaken I was..!
  
  Sadly he has failed to make any impression with his two attempts...... and frankly I don't think.. if he's ever going to make any!!!

  I don't think dina will ever reach the standard of ARR,KR os YSR. He will forever be just a serial musiciam.He doesn't have the ability to be MD for a movie. Middle class madhavan was horrendous.Didn't dina do the music for hasini suhasini? Well that was just a lift from Barbie Girl by Aqua.If it wasn't forgive me.

  Dhina composed a good song in his first movie 'Annai' - sung by Anu Shriram., 'chittukkuch chikkaan'., Other than that, he hasn't done anything great in his latest middle class madhavan and naan paada ninaippathellaam., So sad and disappointing :-(
