Discussion on famous and faithful musicians of various TFM composers orchestras

Any information/biography of any famous musicians in the orchestras of various TFM composers? What they said and unsaid, etc. This is anybody including ARR. I will be of interest to know for which composers other later composers played as a musician before they got doing their own

  arunmozhi alias nepoleon.
  
  In one of his interviews he said that He wud leave Raja only if he quits composing and that he wud prefer playing flute for raja than singing for anybody else.
  
  VSN is the lead violinist of Raja. He's the one who accompanied raja when he went to london for composing his symphony.
  
  Ouseppachan , a famous mallu MD was a violinist under Raja.
  
  Uttam singh has conducted some of the raja's compsitions .Notable one being I24H. He was also a violinist under him.
  
  SivamaNi was the drummer of raja for sometime. Not sure if he's anymore.
  
  Vidyasagar was the drummer of raja when neengaL kEttavai was released. DonnO when he left his orchestra.
  
  Bharadwaj(kAdhal mannan) was an assistant of MSV .
  
  Raja himself was an assistant of GKV and VK. It is said that the first song composed by raja is "thEn sindhudhE vAnam"-poNNukku thanga manasu. (i can't vouch for the authenticity of this piece of info :-)) ).

  You can Sadasudarshanam(Sudarshanam's son).He is IR's lead guitarist and son of sudarshanam.Infact IR and Sada learned guitar together.Very trusted IR aide.
  Another person would be Puroshottaman also called puru.IR's main drummer.
  Keith peter ARR's bass guitarist and mainstay for ARR.

  VK is V Kumar, was famous for a short period of time. MD for many KB films. Some of his great songs that I like are "Kaadhodu dhaan Naan pesuven", "Aadi Adangum Vaazhkaiyada", "Mangaiyaril Maharani" and so on. SPB has done some beautiful numbers under him. Onnum chattunnu nyabagathukku vara mattengudhu.

  Thanks for the clarification - I have heard the music of V Kumar, liked his thamarai kannangal from edhir neechal, madhanotsavam from chaturangam, cant think of other songs now. I couldnt place him when I read the earlier post.

  Did not Vidyasagar worked under SPB in telegu films?. I read somewhere that he was a santoor player too. I cant pin down, where I read this though.
