Hi All,
I would just like to know what u guys feel abt the usage of "vettru mozhi" in tamil film songs. Though some writtenby vairamuthu is really relishable even for a orthodox tamilian, is this a healthy sign as far as tamil language as such is considered ?
Endrun anbudan,
Thiru

There is nothing as such as 100% pure, agmark, 24 carat Tamizh IMO. We'll probably be able to dig out a lot of sanskrit words even in some acclaimed literature. So, what's wrong if some movie songs carry English words? Anyday a meaningful word is far better than `haira haira hairabba' `hey rabba, hey rabba' `jumbalakka' etc.
