Enchanting Duets of IlayaRaja

In this thread lets discuss about the evergreen duets made and sung by the magnanimous music director Ilayaraja.I would like to quote the song "Kaadhal oviyam" from the movie Alaigal Oyvathillai which is one among his best duets.

  Iam sure ShobaShekar(Actor Vijay's mom) was the cosinger. Yep, though that song is a bit loud(typical 70's orchestration), it is one of the rarest songs where IR has sung in a peppy manner. Iam tired of his sober, soga geethangal which we get to hear often, these days

  Rasikane is definitely from Manippoor Maamiyaar. I know, since I have a tape with all the songs in this album.
