Music originates in various forms. Western, Indian , POP, Heavy Metal,... and so on. For few, there is nothing more magical than growing up with Tamil Film Music. It would be nice to share the experience of various TFM fans. Nostalgic memories of childhood and growing up with TFM!

this song was very popular and adikkadi vivida baradila oli parappuvanga when i was in my second or third standard. Most of the times this used to be the last song. around 9.30 AM. I get very nostalgic when i listen to this song. It simply carries back me to the good old days .
Bus la travel pannum bodu illa engayavadu pogum bodu namakku pidicha pattu oru rendu vari katrula midandhu varum. enga irundu varadhunum theriyadu. Ninnu ketkavum time irukkadhu. adutha vari ellam manasula padindu ...Ayyo andha anubavam..anu bavichu irukkanum ya.
that is one of the things i miss very much after having come out of tamilnadu.

My early childhood was mainly in Mandya, Karnataka. During the summer vacations, we would go to my native, a small village in the old South Arcot district in TN. Those days, there were no Cassette players or CD players. It was only the radio playing Vividh Bharathi or Ceylon Vaanoli. I remember listen to this song played repeatedly, 'Naan Maandhopil Nindrirundhal, Aval maambazham vEndumendral'. The only significance this song had was for the fact that there were plenty of mango groves and we used to spend the day playing in the grove. When i listen to this song now, there is an unknown emotion associated with this song!
