  SERIOUSLY...they are finalising Harris for Rajini's next venture ...BALA...by the way the latest on Ilaiyaraaja...is he is begging cameraman Santhosh Sivan to give him the chance for the BGM of ASOKA...Hindi film but producers Shahrukh and Juhi on seeing IR's poorand substandard quality of BGM work in Lajja...had rejected IR for ASOKA..
  The latest news is IR is requesting Kamal to talk to Shahrukh on the quality of BGM of Heyram...even then I doubt whether IR ..will get any BGM assignment in Hindi after his clumsy work in Lajja...

  This thread is solely to discuss who is the next MD for Rajni's next movie. It is not a thrash IR forum. People like you do not deserve to even write about such a great man.
  If you think that Harris Jayaraj could ever do even 1% of what IR has done for TFM you are bigger fools than most people might expect.HJ ippo ore sothappalaa sothappuraan. Antha aalai poi ippadi support pannreengale. Vekkamaa illai?
  Nobody will ever come close to acheiving wjat IR has done in musical history. Maybe ARR is popular now, but he too will never take away what IR has done for the industry.

  Yes Badri, this thread was started with all good intentions of finding out who the MD of the next Rajini's movie is/could be...till some guy 'Bala' started writing nonsense about IR begging around. That started everyone condemning him. Then Ms Kavitha came along armed with loads of vulgarities and stated my IP when using obscenities to condemn Bala. When I corrected her, she could not care less to apologise but went on to use more vulgarities to cover up for her mistake. Well, I think Kavitha has made a fool of herself and she can continue using her many vulgarities, but I am above her low class behaviour and will not be responding to her nonsense any further. I leave it to other DFers to judge for themselves the crudeness and immaturity of this woman.
  But if anyone else cares to share any GENUINE info on Rajini's next movie, I'll be grateful.

  This is what it says, to cut it short. Seems Rajinikant met Shankar recently in Chennai and they decided that they're gonna work together
  for RK's next movie. The name will be chosen in the next couple of days. Aishwayra Rai is the heroine. The film's pooja is slated to be on the Vijayadasami day.
  
  No mention of the music in the article though. With Shankar at the helm of affairs, I think we can assume that it'd be Rahman.

  So what happened to Shanker's ROBOT (wasn't it with Kamal)?? And since ROBOT was to be done wit ARR, I'm sure that ARR will be MD for Rajini's movie then if Shanker is directing it.
  Are there any articles regarding this in English?
  
  Saran, I recommend admin removing kavitha's bad words. And if they did, it won't be the first time. But if admin is going to remove people's opinions or stories, simply bcos it's against a popular musician, then what's the point of having this forum in the first place?

  The latest news is that Rajini has lost interest in Shanker and may go back to K.S.Ravikumar.
  U can find an article at http://movies.sify.com under Tamil. But here's a piece from the article.
  
  "Now the latest we hear is that he has lost interest in the Shankar project (far too expensive and takes time) and is back discussing stories with the old favourite K.S.Ravikumar.
