The current issue of Anandha Vikatan has a feature on Sudha Raghunathan singing under the baton of IR for an unnamed Parthipan film. Also mentioned that Lalgudi Krishnan & Co. have played the violin for the particular song set in SimmendraMadhyamam.
Conflicting reports have been appearing about the much publicised "Elelo" from the Parthipan-ARR team. If I remember right, they even featured in a cover story of Vikatan, alongwith an extensive photoshoot, and Sudha Raghunathan even sang during the launch of the film. I read somewhere else that YSR was doing the next movie for Parthipan in the time Elelo would take b'cos of ARR's busy schedule. Parthipan is known for his excellent PR with the media, and several of his much-publicised projects have never seen the light of the day. Is Elelo one such?

Kupps, i did not put ":-)"
but i did put ":-)))" next to my 'dog' statement, which I thought wud have been even more effective.
Well anyway, i do get ur point there's 'nothing wrong' with family members who have their separate careers teaming up for a joint venture.
But i do get annoyed when people make a big deal about it and pronounce it to be 'good for tfm' when it looks more like a marketing gimmick and it's strikingly obvious tat the distribution of talent among the team members has very vast disparities, which makes the whole thing abit questionable.
>>want to guess my sun sign? :-)<< I just hope u r not yet another royal capricornian pain in the ***. I doubt u r, as u seem quite civilised. :-)

just bcos some don't like IR (or a remote possibility, his music!), it is sad to see his family members being subject to criticisms and denials:-( grow up educated, confident, open-minded, unbiased people.
I think it is good to see the family members get closer and work together. WhyNot's initial comments were unwarranted.
anyway, it has been mentioned only in one magazine and not much hype is being generated, right? Moreover, Sudha is singing and there seems to be some kind of a jugalbandi too! After all, the outcome can be much better than most of the usual stuff that we are getting from others. So, let us wait for the songs.

/*...One doesn't have to go behind roadside dogs to record their voice if one has a dog in ones house whose voice is enough for the requirement. that doesn't account into stupidity or family favouritism, I believe.*/
Kupps, I see more truth in this than it would seem at first. Seriously, I am for it:-)

dont worry kupps... i will transalate it for other tfm makkals
kupps is saying...
we have enough singers in tamil nadu who can cough as well as the people up in north.. so why does ARR bother getting crap from up above rather than settle with home crap :-)
enna correct thaane kupps!
I agree with all of your postings! it makes sense and its correct also.
But I also believe in the secondary meaning(or was it primary) of ur sentence.. we dont have a dog at home so we have to go behind street dogs.

Source rediff.com:
"Interestingly, Sudha Raghunathan's kid and Parthipan's kid had along with Suraj Balaje (who plays Kareena Kapoor’s kid brother in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Asoka) played the child leads in Mani Rathnam’s Kannathil Mutham Ittal.
Perhaps that's how Partipan got Sudha to do the song! "
