I am a fan of SPB, who has got the GOD's gift
for his voice and sings in many languages without
taking much effort.

  I am just so upset 2 c people who do not have any sense in music(A.A) talks of junk singers like Udit, Hariharan, Shanker mahadevan, Sukvinder singh. these nasalist only survive in music world cos of ARR, he is the one who introduced these nasalist to TFM. although ARR introduce some good singers like Unni Krishnan, Unni menon, SPB.Pallavi, Anuradha Sriram, Sujatha.
  
  Dr. SPB is the one & only intermes of :
  
  1. Most beautiful voice, that is so sweet
  2. most divine voice
  3. ability to modulate extremly well
  4. Ability to sing from rock to classical without any difficulties
  5. his voice is so sweet when he talks as well
  6. He talks 4 so many actors, if the films are dubbed in other languages (Kamal, Mohan)
  7. Famous Music director
  
  I do not know if any body realises the fact that SPB has directed for 25 films!!!,(Sigaram, Thodikum karangal) that is an awful lot 4 a singer , out of all 25 he directed they were all super hit.
  
  I know for fact that S. Janaki directed for one film in tamil.
  
  Questions:
  
  1) How many films did M.rafi direct music for?
  2) How many films did KJY direct music for?
  3) how many films did TMS direct music for?
  4) how many films did hariharan direct music 4?
  5) how many films did lata or Kishor kumar direct for?
  
  I need answers !!!
  
  also that AA idiot says that "the nasalist Udit's khaal thoosu SPB, when it comes 2 melody", that just shows how stupid & idiotic he is when it comes to music!!!.
  
  I can not imagine IFM without SPB, it would stink like shit!!

  Well, Lata did direct music for nearly 10 Marathi movies, many of which were superhits. Also she has directed music for a few private albums in Marathi,Gujarathi and Bengali.
  
  
  KJY has done a few films and several private albums, devotionals I think?????
  
  rafi has composed quite a few ghazal albums which are real treats.
  
  However, we are discussing singing skills, not music direction, right?
  
  
  While I agree SPB is a great singer and a great singer, rafi and KJY match upto him in all respects. In fact when I listen to golden Telugu oldies og Ghantasala, I find his voice equally divine too!!!!!
  
  SPB himself respects Ghantasala and Rafi, so why cant u, dear friend?

  I am not saying I do not respect rafi or ghantasala, I respect them greatly, it's just my favourite singer is is Dr.SPB, I am great music lover, I admire excellent singers like Dr.spb, Dr.kjy, Jeyacahndran, M.rafi,lata, susheel, s.janaki , but I really get pissed when they bring the horrible nasalists like Hariharan, Uditnarayan, kumar sanur, srinivas ect.
  
  in terms of Dr.spb, he is the most versatile singer in India, his voice is incredibily divine, I find SPB & Dr. balamurali krishna's voice to be simliar, I am sure lot of people will sgree with me on that.
  
  in terms of yesudas, SPB can all yesudas songs, but KJy can not sing all spb songs.
  KJY is melodious I agree,, but he can not express the feeling of joy, sorrow, dignity, that SPB style of laughter, can not be done by KJY or any one else.
  
  I have also noticed that most singers, like KJY,hariharan Unnikrishnan, Shanker do not sound the same when the talk, but SPB's voice is the same awsome voice , when he talks as well.
  
  KJy is voice is fading away, althoug he is 5 years older than SPB, but spb's voice remains the same, infact getting better day by day, Now is thant a god's gift?

  (1)About Udit singing Tamil songs - i agree wholeheartedly. And Kumar Sanu is really disgraceful. I also do not have much regard for Shankar mahadevan.
  
  (2)But Hariharan is quite good.
  
  (3)Yes KJYs voice is fading away inspite of all his classical training.
  But his devotionals are great.
  
  (4)However,I feel Mohammed Rafi was as versatile (SPB himself admits that). Anyway, thats my opinion - please NO FLAMES!!!
  
  
  (5)Yes SPB's (and Rafi's) versatility is great. SPB's Shankarabharanam and Swarnakamalam and Kadhal Oviyum are real masterpieces.
  
  (6)SPBs ability to laugh in between the verses is very good. he is also a very nice and humble person, I even love to WATCH him sing, besides listening. Long live SPB!!!
  
  However I sincerely request u to stop saying that "without SPB, IFM will stink". Thats not true.

  Pls don't compare nasalists like HH,Shanker Mahadevan, Srinivas, with the legend like SPB, SPB's voice so manly, with great bass & modulation.
  
  SPB sings at high pitches with great ease, which many singers lack of,(except TMS),his modulation, & emotions can never be matched by any other singer in India!
  
  Mano's voice is bad, with a horrible voice, he immitates SPB greatly, although he says that his idol & role model is SPB!!, mano can not modulate, it sounds terrible!!, he is only good for songs like "mukkala mukkabala"!
  
  KJY is also great, but then again he lacks modulation, variety & emotions(although he is extremley good at sad songs).
  
  M.rafi's is also great, but his voice lacks bass & manly, nevertheless he was also great, but not as great as SPB!
