  With a drum beat, it merges to charaNam..

  prelude'la keyboard, slow'aa intense aayi, oru

  apram, oru maathiri kumizh kumizh'aa layer layer'aa unfold aayi.. vEgam vEgam'nu aarambikkum!
  
  apram, interlude'la oru maathiri "multilayered"
  humming oNNu.. chance'E illai.. its just too good
  a song! Listen carefully! You discover many things/feelings/moods with it!
  
  apram, 2nd interlude'la oru maathiri music "run"
  aagum.. Felt similarity with "rabbabba rabbabbarE
  -puthu nmaappiLLaikku" 2nd interlude and also to
  some section in "sandhirarum sooriyarum peththeduththa puththiranum" - avathaaram. Nevertheless, it runs crazily with lots of surprise and joy! violins koodavE Odi varum!
  
  Its a jem of a piece frm IR. Just for this song,

  Have anyone of u listened to 'Grahan' by Karthik Raja. Its really very nice work.
  Any comments. Any links to the audio for Grahan will be much appreciated.
  And I think Karthik Raja really deserves a break
  But will our Kodambakkam morons will ever listen??

  Hi Ganesh!
  
  It has been almost two years since Grahan audio was released. It is one of his best works so far. All the songs are good except for one chorus song (last song on side A). Also, there are two songs, which are not new to that album. First song on side A is (or almost like) ullasam's "veesum kaatrukku...". The other song (on side A only) is a hindi version of "netru vandha kaatru..." sung by ilayaraja from the movie kanmani... Though the MD for kanmani was Ilayaraja, that particular song must have been composed by karthik only, I guess.
  
  I especially liked the last song sung by Asha and one semi-classical piece (both are on side B).
  Overall, it is a good album worth buying. In fact, he got filmfare's the best new comer MD award that year, though the film has not been released yet.

  When they asked opinion from public., one guy mentioned 'Ilayarajavukkaaka paarkkalaam Sir'., :-)
  Songs are good., no doubt., But Looking at the picturisation of songs., I really doubt whether they will reach the MASS. To be more specific 'Aayiram kodi' song is picturised in pakka 1980 style :-).,

  songs are as usual , excellent.
  
  highlight is jesudas-chitra song, a new singer gayatri singing a bhajan type song(supported by synth that is the beauty) and one more melodious by chitra. other 2 songs are just okay one by yesudas and other by bavatarani.

  Looks like this is the biggest problem that IR is facing these days. Any movie that he composes for seems to bomb big time... (including Hey Ram!). Will "Bharathi" break the jinx?
