  People who have been accusing of ARR repeating songs in Hindi should take note here. Vidyasagar is so pathetic that he could not think of any other songs but his own dumb song "Aasai Aasai" which has beat of Bol Sajani from Doli Sajake rakha and Jodi (Song).

  Don't blame the MDs. It is the directors who decide what tune to pick up. The MD's job is to give the Directors a set of tunes and it is the director (not MD ) who decides to use it. I remember the ARR's int where he said ashutosh gowarikar really liked kichu tha and he wanted that in his movie. They called up rajinikanth and got his okay to use the song.

  Lot of ARRs songs have beats done by others, so what's your point? Vidyasagar is very talented and unless you have a common technical criteria of comparison rating ARR over VS you don't have any right to make biased fanatic comments.

  It is not his first hindi movie. His first hindi movie was 'Durga' Starring Chakravarthy. His first dubbed hindi movie was 'Jai Hind', which was dubbed in hindi with the same name.
  No suprises in the reviews written up on Hulchul by the knowledgeable reviewers like Suganya Verma ( rediff) and India FM guys, all the songs in the movies are thrash ( of course music by any Southern MDs there is no other possibility). What is so hilarious was, the indianfm review which says, the songs are inspired from anand miland numbers. Give me break!.

  the inspiration is ARR :
  
  ' Rafta Rafta ' by Udit Narayan and Sujatha takes you back to the music of another Priyadashan movie ' Doli Saja Ke Rakhna '. This romantic number has a Rehman touch while the picturization is situational with a comic touch as the lead pair of Akshay Khanna and Kareena seem to be having a compromise while being with each other! The number starts off well but after a couple of minutes becomes quite ordinary.
  
  Shaan and Sadhna Sargam sing ' Hum Dil Ke ' that is thematically very similar to another number ' Kissa Hum Likhenge ' from ' Doli Saja Ke Rakhna '. Well, this time around the song doesn't impress much as it is too laidback and there is complete lack of energy. It is one thing to be sweet and simple while it is different to be without any fizz at all!

  Do not blame the northies. If the album is a crap, they could do little. They have accepted ARR but they did not accept IR even though his songs are copied by ARR. The reason was IR gave point blank Southie style while Anand Milind gave IR song north touches and made it hit and thats where ARR stands and his music is universal compared to IR and VS.

  I would call that supposedly hyped MD a techno junkie who is like a frog in a well. He cannot even score some good folkish, carnatic, symphony based tunes yet. Vidyasagar after IR could cover pretty good ground on atleast 2 out of three.
  
  Please read the following topic about that MD has not come out with any good folk or carnatic based numbers. All he does is Electronic Gimmickry and that is his short comings. It has been 4 years no improvement
