Hi Guys
I have been trying to search - if someone has translated Thyagaraja Keerthanas in Tamil.
To listen to the music in the original language is amazing but I want to understand what he is trying to say too, especially Thyagaraja
Keerthanas as he has concentrated on singing about his devotion to the lord.

Sivam: Rangaramanuja Ayyangar's Sri Kruthi MaNimaalai (Vol 1 and 2) gives meaning of the compositions. There were attempts to translate into Tamil. I do not remember the authors.

Sivam: there is a prof. in Indiana University, U.S.A., regarded as an expert on Tyagaraja, who has translated many of the sage's songs into English.
