Kanna unnai thedugiren is another addition to the list of mediocre albums that is being churned out by IR regularly. except for 'oorurangum nerethil' which passes muster the rest are mediocre to say the least. IR/producers, would u pl. stop Hariharan from singing IRs songs? he is terrible.

I feel all of IR's song by Hariharan would sound better if sung by someone like SPB or even Jayachandran. this is strictly IMO.

I suspect that the author of most songs in kannA unai thEdugiRen is not IR (except oor urangum). Must be Karthik in most case. I am saying this because the tunes seem to have lots of cut-and-paste from prev IR tunes. This usually does not happen with IR. Either he recycles a tune completely or writes a new tune in his 'usual or predictable' style (no innovation).

I feel all the songs KKKK are mediocre and I certainly think ARR is predictable too. In fact every one is. I wish to say this and do not wish to drag further. And can you elaborate your statement on Cut and Paste? So many people already discussed ARR's Ctrl-C Ctrl-V. I don't want to be one another. I really don't know what you guys think yourself. Got the CDs of "How to name it " and "nothing but wind " Super pa . IR is the ultimate in the Indian film industry. I vividly remember an interview in which Anand-Milind (famous for lifiting IR songs like raakamma , kondai cheval koovum neram etc ) acknowledging IR as the best music director the Indian film industry has ever seen. IR has got compliments from Naushad,LP and even from Bappi. It is the day for the entire nation to celebrate as the IR(MUSIC) day just as we have mothers,daddys,thatha's and thathis days.
