RJ Suchitra as a Singer

A new crooner




"OOMAHA ZEEYA... ", the beginning of that hit song "Uyirin Uyire" from "Kaakha Kaakha" tuned by Harris Jayaraj, caught the attention of music aficionados. It has a Japanese tone about it and sensuality rushes through when you hear it. Suchitra, the hottest VJ of Radio Mirchi, has rendered this song along with KK.

Suchitra and her voice wake you every morning as she hosts the popular breakfast show "Hello Chennai". Her new number in "Jay Jay" written by Vairamuthu and tuned by Bharadwaj, "May masam 98'il.. major aanene", has got a young feel about it. The song is peppy. It features Reema Sen at the Visakhapatanam railway station and is sure to top the charts once the visuals appear on channels.

Said music director Bharadwaj: "Suchitra invests a lot of vigour and energy in her numbers. She is sure to go places." In "Jay Jay", she not only croons but also makes a cameo appearance as RJ Suchi and helps Amoga to find Maddy!

  xpr8r, i'm talking about uyire uyire song. I gave it a listen after a friend recommended it so much.

  No she's got a great voice ! Her singing is better than talking i feel.A different tone a 3rd category lol.First category is normal tones like Chitra,Sujatha.Second category is that of Sadhana Sargam.And 3rd category is Suchitra :)

  lolol the kaka kakka song was a hit because of the music and kk s voice was interestingly used .the oohmahazeeya was crap and thats what she sounded like..lolol..there are other RJs who deserve better credit than her.May madam was also a good song her voice is very plain and there is nothing nice about it.We college students who sing for culturals sound better than her.but i must say you guys are hilarious here !!!!

  It is actually puzzling as to why she sounded like that in the song. She has a sweet voice and the way she conducts "Hello Chennai" is pretty impressive. Harris Jeyaraj added some sound effects to maintain his quality and standard perhaps! ;-)

  yeah. I've become a huge huge fan of her ever since she first hosted "Kadhala Kadhala".. it was only later on that she went on to host Hello Chennai, due to popular demand!!
  She's got a nice voice, a superb gift of the gab.. but when it comes to her singing.. hmm, i dont know if it's her or the MD who's responsible for the result!
