Deva will Overtake IR as the highest no of films scored by a MD

TFM listeners we all know that IR has scored around 750 movies so far,but Mr.Deva within 3 years has already crossed 300 films,going by this and also looking at the no of assignments he is doing. I would say he will outdone IR or any MD in south to be highest scorer for indian films may be a guiness record will established

  3 Years ? You must be joking., He is there in TFM for more than 10 years now.
  Even if it is 300 in 3 years., I don't think it is a big Achievement. If I charge 1000 Bucks per movie and PREPARE 5 GOOD (??!!) songs a day, I will reach 300 in one year probably. ;-)

  Come on guys, Deva has been in TFM since 1991 or 1992, being almost 10 years, certainly 300 is a just number for him. Anyway, talking about quality in terms of originality, who is better..i need to tell????

  hi 100th movie was solayamma..came in 93-94. One of the first one was the prashanth movie(name??), came around 1990-91. so, its 300 in 9 years.

  Deva's first movie is 'Manasukkeeththa magaraasa' - A Ramarajan movie., 'Vaigaasi PoRanthaachchu' (Prashanth's first movie) was his first BIG Hit.

  Deva's first movie 'manasukkettha maharasa' released in 1989.
  
  Kallalagar is 250th movie(1999).

  Deva can even compose 3000 Movies as long as Western MD's keep giving him stocks of rythms and tunes. :)

  Some of Deva's original numbers like "konja naal poru thalaiva" are really good. Which proves that Deva is really capable of giving some orginal scores...but why is not giving it?
  
  I can come up with two reasons..
  
  1. Copying the already hit songs somewhere may guarantee hit here with less time and more money.
  
  2. Sheer time pressure.

  Quality apart, even quantity will be too difficult for the ageing Deva to catch up with. I think he is nearly as old as IR (or may be only a couple of years younger). @30-40 films a year, he'll still need min. 15 years to reach the current count of IR.

  Oh,what a joke.Even if Deva makes 1000 movies,they cant be considered real songs of Deva.Nearly 80% of his songs are the works of other great musicians. He is just a copier of others music.Please dont consider him as a music director.Comparing him with IR is like insulting IR.
