Devar Magan / Virasat Query!

To all readers: You may recall a few year ago the Hindi remake of Devar Magan came out-Virasat.
Well I was wondering how the hindi songs compared to the tamil songs.
Lastly is the song Payeli Chunmun...a copy of a tamil song?

  Virasat .. they tried to get the best out of anu malik.. he did justice to the songs.. but the bgm is not upto the mark. But anyway Virasat also a good movie like Devar Magan. Anil Kapoor is the onky guy who is good in remaking the tamil movies.I heard from the media that he is remaking Anbae SIvam..

  The songs of virasat are simply amazing, but didn't like the tamil ones much, although I am a great fan of Tamil music.

  Abhijit,
  I am sure you'd have liked the songs from "Gentleman" in Hindi (decomposed by Annu Malik in Hindi) and not the original in Tamil (composed by A R Rahman).
  
  Yeah, as long as guys like you patronise Annu Malik, he would continue copying from the likes of Ilayaraja and AR Rahman.
