s.janaki's performance in rahman's concert

hai everybody!
shall we discuss about janakiamma's performance in a.r.rahman's unity of concert held in chennai.

  of light concert in chennai.(vijay tv-25.05.03)
  wow what a huge crowd and audio system!
  janakiamma started with a very shrilling and chilling,"
  nenjinilae"..when she started that song there was a very big applause
  and response by the audience.
  but she struggled in her low pitch..........even rahman joined with
  the chorus of that malayalam prelude...........but when she was
  singing her 1'st stanza(saranam)...her high pitch voice was very
  superb and extraordinary.
  even singers like chitra,sujatha,swarnalatha,minmini struggled to go
  for high pitch.
  but our janakiji's high pitch voice was really very great.
  then came "margazhi thingalallavaa"......wow...superb.next was a duet
  with spb"ottagathai kattiko".......janakiamma can only do this!
  really i was astonished to see such a old lady(nearing her 70's) singing along with younger generation singers like hariharan,sukwinder,unnikrishnan,karthik,srinivas,shankar mahadevan,sujatha,minmini,sdhana sargam,anupama .......etc competitively!
  though she is older than any other singer on the show her divine voice seems to be younger than any other singer in that event.
  but i expected janakiamma would sing mudhalvane and kadhal kaditham .....songs from rahman's music.
  let us expect rahman to give more chances for janakiamma and make the best use of her voice.

  I couldn;t watch that show.. I watched the first part, I missed the second part, as I had my birthday part (mine was on 24th May.. but the partty was on 25th sunday).. Great miss, can I get the cd or casette on that Concert.
