Vidyasagar is going to give a big hit after Killi (commercial song) for Rajini's new film.

Will he overcome ARR's hit of Rajini ????

  I read in a tamil magazine that the MD is not yet confirmed,,,
  
  They have asked ARR to compose.. If he says yes then i think he will be the MD

  its Vidyasagar who is MD of CHandramughi...Pirabhu confirmed it on a interview..let Vidyasagar have a chance for composing for the biggest star in Tamil Nadu!

  VS is an excellent musician, he beats ARR when it comes you melody, but overal ARR is better musician / Technician than VS.
  
  I have a feeling, it would be ARR, any way, as long as SPB sings all the songs, it is bound to be Mega hit, this was a mistake ARR made in Baba, for which he regrets now :)

  Both Ramkumar and P Vasu still in discussion with Ilayaraja.
  
  This is SIVAJI FILMS. Ilayaraja is very close to Sivaji and his family.

  IR is better musician / Technician than ARR/VS/any other music directors. I'm raja's fan.I listern only his Songs.
  
  If Prabu and Vasu are the only decision makers then surely it's gonna be IR.

  If it is Vidyasagar for Chandramukhi, then he is really lucky. The same luck he is going to get as what Deva got in Annamalai. But, it is difficult for any MD to satisfy Super Star fans. At this time, the perfect choice is Deva or YSR. Vidyasagar music is more of fast numbers. It may go well with Vijay or Ajith, but definitely with Super Star. Deva already proved his best in Annamalai and Batcha. YSR is having the calibre to give a music to the taste of the heros. VS is of stereo-type fast number. He cannot be a perfect match. But I am really happy the ARR is not in the fray. For IRs case, even if Rajini wishes, whether IR will accept it or not? It is big question.

  Happy to hear that Vidyasagar finally got the break he deserves,however,I would have preferred it if ARR was roped in,the problem is,as someone mentioned,ARR seems to have evolved to another level which would probably not go too well with Rajni-P.Vasu combo.
  In the case of Background score, I am doubtful as to whether Vidyasagar could match that of ARR's or Illaiyaraja's very high standards,reading the basic storyline of the film,indicates to me that this film would rely heavily on the background score, lets hope Vidyasagar delivers the quality produce for Rajni,however,Yuvan Shankar Raja should have also been considered, not only is he good at producing hit songs, he can also produce excellent background scores,oh well,maybe next time.....

  VS is junk.. He will repeat some of his earlier movie or bring Malayalam music to Tamil. Deva or ARR is a better choice.

  Dont Count on it. Vidyasagar is smart enough to know when to make new tunes and when to re use his ealier tunes. I've had hoped on Vidyasagar would make music to Rajnis movie one day, now it has come true. GOD really exists

  if the vidyasagar is the md then rajini should accept another flow in his career.the only person now can bring back rajini's lost power is none other than illayaraaja.the main problem is vairamuthu.I dont why always rajini ask vairamuthu to write song for him.since there is better lyricts such as the great vaali, piraisoodan, mehta and pulamaipithan.Since this is first film after sivaji sir death rajini should change the music director to dr.illayaraaja to give mega hit like thalabathy,mannan, veera, ulaipaali,panakaaran,paandiyan and so on.
