Deva's "Kashmir"

The soundtrack to "Kashimir" (starring Karthik and Charulatha)has released. Music by Deva. What are your thoughts on this one by Deva?

  Deva has come up with some nice tunes in his recent movies like Bagavathy and Sokka
  Thangam. All the same, one song in each of his new movies is likely to be inspired from another MD's song. Recently I was listening to a new song from the movie kaadhaludan and the song which goes like kaadhaludan kaadhaludan is borrowed heavily from a song from the Hindi movie Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. That Hindi song goes like this: Dheem thana dheem thana dheem thana. It was sung by SPB and (I think) Lata. Deva's song in Sokka Thangam which goes Enna nenache is sweet though.

  This is very gana styled and I think it shows that gana can be TFM. I found it enjoyable and very listenable, esp. Netruvarai and Naan Chinna Ponnu. However I think the one thing that disappoints me about Deva is that he doesn't come up with too many strong melodic songs, and there are none here either. However I did like it.
