Unreleased Songs/Song bits, in movies

There have been plenty of unreleased songs or song bits that appear in the movie - which take your heart away the moment you hear them. For example, "Yendrendrum Punnagai" from Alaipayuthey, "Aandandham" from 12B, "Thiruda Thiruda" from Thiruda Thiruda, etc... Some of these songs get released later, after they become famous - while some go unreleased. Why do you think this happens? Isn't this a loss to the TFM listeners community? Let's talk about this...

  There have been quite a few song bits in old films, especially IR's that have become hits in themselves. I can recollect one such in Veera - "Aathula annakili". It's an amazing bit - much better than any other song in that movie.
