Song stats (From which film, who sang, etc.)

Many years back, one film starring Rajnikant had a song in which an animated character was included. This was based on the concept of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, a Hollywood released in 1988. Can anyone tell me the name of the film, the director, and whether this concept was repeated in any other Tamil film

  I think you are asking about the film Raaja Chinna Roja. Starring Rajini, Gauthami, Raghuvaran, Ravichandran, Chinni Jayanth, "Baby a.k.a Kumari" Shalini etc. Music by ChandraBose. The song Raaja Chinna Roja voda kaattuppakkam vandhanam had animated characters acting(!) along with human actors.
