Rakkamma Kaiyai tattu - is the best song of the decade

Gang this song from Dalapati can rendered as the best sond of the decade, just by looking at the voilin used in this song and the way it reduces itself before every para. Also the conversion in to anadha bharavi ragam. This song is apt for research for decades since it is very complex yet very pleseant. ( Just my opinoin and want thread to continue with intellectual comments, with out attacking anybodies personal feelings)

  I don't have enough knowledge to comment about the instruments in this song but IMO the rendition of this song by the singers is far from best. So, I feel it cannot be the best song of the decade!

  I also beleive this is the best song of the year, because of it's superb audio mixing both voice and the instruments, made inhouse with the facilities available at that time (1990).

  This song had an extremely good prelude - something which can belong to the `Alla figaro' kind of family. I bet if Paul Mauriat hears it, he'll hug IR! It also had an excellent ending with a stunning native piece.
  
  The rest of the portion, i.e. the main body of the song- pallavi, interludes and saranams - are good no doubt, but are not above any other hit song of IR. I may not rate it better than, say, Arachcha sandhanam of Chinnathambi.
